Conventionally, wired glass was used for the purpose of fire prevention.
Wired glass is often misunderstood by people as its appearance. People think that it may be used for crime prevention.
Since molten glass does not drop apart by means of flame. It prevents flame from spreading to in and out of a building.
Pyrolcear is a fire preventive glass:
Its edges are specially processed and heat tempered. It complies to the Fire Prevention Test Standards Notice issued by the Ministry of Construction. It is widely used for the Class B Fire Prevention Door as well as for the Class A Fire Prevention Door.

It is approved as the main composition in the General Approval No. 2 covering "The Class B Fire Prevention Door Made of Aluminum".
The Class A Fire Prevention Door Glass:
Conventional Class A doors and shutters were generally made of steel. As we have achieved a specific approval for Pyroclear, it makes you easily adopt this type pf glass.
Since Pyroclear is a fire prevention glass processed against the sheet glass made by the floating process which is commonly used for buildings. It provides you very clear visibility as we as quite natural tones of colors.
Pyroclear has the same tone of color that of the commonly available sheet glass processed by the floating method. It is therefore easy for you to tune its tone of color to adjacent glasses.
(However, reflected images appears as same as that of commonly available tempered glass.)

Its strength is six(6) times than that of the floating processed glass in the same thickness as this glass is super tempered, and as much as twice stronger than the commonly available tempered glass.
It is not breakable by means of heat.
This is a generic safety glass. Even if it is broken, it becomes very small particles, therefore, it is safe not only in case of fire but collision by humans as well as earth quake, too.
Conforming to Tempered Glass per JIS R3206 Group
Wind Pressure Design: Corresponds to the coefficient 3.0 of the classification per the notice No. 109 by the Ministry of Construction.
Guidance to Safety Design: Corresponds to the notice of "Safety Design Guidance of Openings" by the Ministry of Construction in May 1986.

This is a Pyroclear glass using generic sheet glass processed by the floating method.
Pyroclear's maximum size is as large as 2400 by 1800 millimeters(8 mm thick).
An extraordinary process is applied to edges of Pyroclear, and its entire circumference is covered with a metal tape in order to protect edges.
Do not detach the tape and install the glass with the metal tape.
Pyroclear has twice as much as strength compared to that of generic tempered glass, however, we suggest you to use Pyroclear as in the same manner applied for generic tempered glass as far as its wind pressure calculation is concerned.
If you wish to attach greater importance to reflected images, use an eight(8) millimeter thick Pyroclear. As Pyroclear is heat treated, reflected image is somewhat disordered when compared to those sheet glasses which are not heat treated.
Carrying out a construction:
If the glass edges are hurt, prescribed fire prevention may not be guaranteed. In order to protect edges, Pyroclear's entire circumference is wrapped with a metal tape. Pay your utmost attention when you carry it and during installation work. Do not detach the tape and have it remain on the glass.
Processing the Pyroclear
Pyroclear is only available in the form of flat sheet. It is impossible for you to drill a hole, cut its edge and bend. Please order from us showing a size which you are desirous to use.
