Bida House:

1862, Ishikawa County, Ishikawa Pref., now at the Ishikawa Prefecture Hakusanroku Folk Museum.
This is a work house for the slash-and-burn agriculture of Hakusanroku. The thatched roof almost becomes the
exterior wall of the house and it is like houses for commoners before the development of minka. Almost all of
the construction is carried out by the family living here Above the entrance on the side is a gabled window to let
light into the doma and to expel smoke from the irori hearth
